Hollis McCard negotiated these checker player's rates for $69.95 (Tennessee Tax 16.24% = Total $81.31 per night) for non-smoking double queens which normal rents for $90.  Hotel is located just across I-40 on same side as Americas Best Value Inn & Suites. Notice that S Cumberland Street becomes Murfreesboro Road when you cross over the interstate bridge, (US Hwy-231).  Comfort Suites is next door to O'Charley's steak house.  Comfort Suites is a 3-4 star hotel with all positive reviews.  It cost more but you definitely get more... a newer hotel with more quality, an impressive free breakfast, an extremely clean hotel, and more & nicer amenities. You can sign up for the free meeting room w/internet. Be sure to mention you are a checker player when you make your hotel reservations or talk to the front desk receptionist. Make them early because this is not a pre-pay arrangement and there isn't a cancellation penalty if within 24 hours.
